gotta remind myself with this:
"Success is not final, failure is not fatal, it is the courage to continue that counts"

almost forgot about my problem. NO. we don’t forget about our problems. we learn to deal with it!

yes! gotta go and learn to deal with it…. need to get back to mugging.

Aloha!

For those who don’t know, I’m back in Sabah for a week for my youngest sis’ BIG DAY!

My sincere apologies for friends here, cos I might not have enough time to spend with you. Will be busy busy from today onwards.

Take care… leave me a message here to say HI = )

in the beginning it was good = )

sometimes, life can be depressing for many …..
life will be like heaven for some.

2 news for us to receive:
the bad news - in the world we shall have tribulations, trials & testing.

the good news - Jesus had overcame the world. So be of good cheer~! Look on the bright side of life.

like it anot, we have to accept the good and bad in life. it comes in a package.

the bad is always there … to reveal the good side in us. problems always come as opportunities …. becos we are not God, it takes time and little bit longer sometimes for us to identify with this statement.

I saw this question in a book the other day: "Is it better to have a life with choices or without?"

I thank God, we have choices. If not life will be boring to stick on to the same thing everyday and live without an option. imagine you live your life like a robot - a mechanic that lives in a predictable life. with buttons that are preset to tell you where and what to expect the next moment. well, our life is not like that, God had given us a free-will choice. You can choose pepsi cola or coca cola, sprite or 7-up. both tasted the same? No. do not be deceived. one can be sweeter than the other. Same goes with good and bad. one can be sweeter than the other.

Choices - it’s in your own hand. Choose how you want to see your life.  Look on the good or bad side of it.

all right enough said …. and don’t make me sing it out …"Look on the bright side of life ….." oops …. seems like I’m doing a free ad here.

what’s NEXT ?

what’s up next? it’s gonna be exciting …
my new blog skin …

waiting for a new chapter of life …
new wine skins …
new hairstyle …
new song …
new project …
new home …
new room …
I want a new face skin ….wahahaha ….

Everything will just be ‘new’ to me !!!!

TENACITY

ME: what do u think you’ve learnt through this change?

a faithful friend: "TENACITY" - an endurance and perseverance kind of learning experience.

was having a conversation with a close friend that went through ups and downs together with me. had a real fruitful talk today.

it’s true that the key to spiritual growth is to have tenacity in the Lord. the determination to go on without having the thought of giving up when you faced with challenges…. but to go on and on and on and on …..

no matter how inadequate, how incapable you are ….it may not be a bad thing after all … because it’s through that then you learn to depend on God instead of your own strength.

you don’t need to speak bombastic words but just simple words will touch His heart.

so stop looking down on yourself. God loves a clean heart with a simple faith that’s not contaminated with religious theology.

all of us need to breakthrough in certain area of our faith in God. today I was reminded of the days of my youth …. and drawing near to friends who were with you since the day 1 shown your tenacity in this friendship. the determination to keep lasting relationship, both earthly and heavenly : ) i’m happy to have a divine appointment with both God and my friend today.

oh yes, forgotten to mention that we really need to do something about our disatisfaction instead of complaining and nursing it.when you’re complaining, you’ll find yourself getting unhappy, high blood pressures shoot up, heart beats faster. let our health prosper as our souls prosper. Amen.

say out loud 3 times ….or more if you need it badly …..

TENACITY …… TENACITY …… TENACITY …….

Vitamin for-the-day

"Joyce meyer said most of the time people experience fluctuating emotions is cos of the things that run through their mind. Once we’re able to control our mind, we’ll able to control our emotions too…"

what pre-occupied your mind? that’s your emotions …
control your mind = control your emotions

eg.
if in your mind, you’re thinking how angry you are towards this person = you’re bearing anger and grudges

if in your mind, you’re thinking how pity you are = you’re having victim mindset

Don’t let your mind and imagination run wild …. haywire …

think good. look good. say what is good. For God is good..

hope I have a rocking chair now : )

Ruth 1: Naomi and Ruth Return (NLT)

6 Then Naomi heard in Moab that the Lord had blessed his people in Judah by giving them good crops again. So Naomi and her daughters-in-law got ready to leave Moab to return to her homeland. 7 With her two daughters-in-law she set out from the place where she had been living, and they took the road that would lead them back to Judah.

8 But on the way, Naomi said to her two daughters-in-law, “Go back to your mothers’ homes. And may the Lord reward you for your kindness to your husbands and to me. 9 May the Lord bless you with the security of another marriage.” Then she kissed them good-bye, and they all broke down and wept.

10 “No,” they said. “We want to go with you to your people.”

11 But Naomi replied, “Why should you go on with me? Can I still give birth to other sons who could grow up to be your husbands? 12 No, my daughters, return to your parents’ homes, for I am too old to marry again. And even if it were possible, and I were to get married tonight and bear sons, then what? 13 Would you wait for them to grow up and refuse to marry someone else? No, of course not, my daughters! Things are far more bitter for me than for you, because the Lord himself has raised his fist against me.”

14 And again they wept together, and Orpah kissed her mother-in-law good-bye. But Ruth clung tightly to Naomi. 15 “Look,” Naomi said to her, “your sister-in-law has gone back to her people and to her gods. You should do the same.”

16 But Ruth replied, “Don’t ask me to leave you and turn back. Wherever you go, I will go; wherever you live, I will live. Your people will be my people, and your God will be my God. 17 Wherever you die, I will die, and there I will be buried. May the Lord punish me severely if I allow anything but death to separate us!” 18 When Naomi saw that Ruth was determined to go with her, she said nothing more.

19 So the two of them continued on their journey. When they came to Bethlehem, the entire town was excited by their arrival. “Is it really Naomi?” the women asked.

20 “Don’t call me Naomi,” she responded. “Instead, call me Mara*, for the Almighty has made life very bitter for me. 21 I went away full, but the Lord has brought me home empty. Why call me Naomi when the Lord has caused me to suffer and the Almighty has sent such tragedy upon me?”

22 So Naomi returned from Moab, accompanied by her daughter-in-law Ruth, the young Moabite woman. They arrived in Bethlehem in late spring, at the beginning of the barley harvest.

*Naomi means pleasant, Mara means bitter

A friend’s sharing which encouraged me for the day:

Was listening to Ps Phil Pringle podcast on the seven last sayings of Jesus.

What would your last saying be if you know you are going to die? What would be you saying when you are going through "Dark Days"?

Just want to share with you the first of the seven.

Luke 23:24
Then Jesus said, Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.

The easiest thing to do when we are going through dark days is to blame people, circumstances and even God. For Jesus, He could have blamed the Roman soldiers who crucified Him, the pharisees who falsely accused Him, the crowd who turned against Him overnight… BUT He chose to forgive.

Forgiveness, both the receiving and giving of it, is the answer to many struggles in our life.

wanna share 3 words with you guys:
b-lame >>> be-lame = crippled in everything

respons-ibility >>> response-ability = right response towards life

W.W.J.D >>> what would Jesus do? many times I have the answer for my situations. It’s a matter receiving or accepting it anot ….

actually my mood now is : 想哭但哭不出来!

with so many things going around past few weeks plus just received a news my sec school mate passed away. there are thingsssssssss that break my heart again and again … can feel how much God’s heart was broken because of it too … He felt the same for me, He understands what I’m going through … forgive me Lord if I would break Your heart ever again.

I really need more mercy, grace and strength …. despite it all, I love Jesus, my Wonderful and Beautiful Saviour.

"You are my freedom …
Jesus, You’re the reason! …."

yes! You are the reason why I have to go through all these …. You have gone before me Lord.

cheerz on!
